Valvoline

I’m really excited to try Valvoline’s Restore and Protect for my truck’s upcoming oil change. I know it’s not going to give me more power or fuel economy, well, maybe. But that’s not really what I’m after. It’s the cleaning up of the deposits, specifically the piston ring lands, that I’m interested in. For a naive oil guy like me, I used to think Mobil 1 from its advertisements and Motul, known for being one of the best motorcycle oils; used to be “the” brands to use. Since I’ve started using oil analysis I’ve learned a lot, but yet I’m only scratching the surface. What I like most about Valvoline is, they are the only oil company that still has its own engine test lab. Watch the video, if you’re a motor-head you’ll enjoy it.
