Skipped a Beat

I missed last Monday’s Weekly Newsletter. Good! I don’t feel bad about it. I fulfilled my one newsletter a week for a year; back on February 10th. Pulling content/topics outta thin air and stretching them out to fill a screen has been newsletters of recent.

Since I have completed my original challenge, it’s time for a new one. I will put out a newsletter when I have something worthy or something of value to put out.

I had one of the best days of my life on Monday July 28th. That was the first Monday Newsletter that I missed, since starting. I didn’t achieve anything great on that day. It was the accumulation of decisions that I made, to make it one of the greatest days. Also, the environment helped greatly, too. A motorcycle track day. Let me explain:

I was pitted next to some really cool people (decision + environment). I decided to walk the track early morning while the sun was rising; planning out my lines for the day (decision + environment). Walking the track invited me to switch to a proactive rider, where the previous day I showed up as a reactive rider. I “Protected My Passion” (decision), by setting my goals temporarily to the side and focusing only on fun.

Newsletter topics in the works. Titles subject to change:

  • Protecting Your Passion

  • Old Bike, New Problem; New Bike, No problem.

  • Dreams are Filled with things you don’t want to do.

If you are craving some motorcycle/track day content in between my newsletters. My buddy, Aron Smetana, from the Bay Area puts out motorcycle/track day content. Check out his Moto-Life here.
