#52, One Year!

When I started this newsletter, I said I’d do one a week for a year and see where it takes me. This newsletter completes that first part. Where did it take me? Sunday’s have become “My Day” and a day of rest. Even God rested on the seventh day, lol. Of the 52 newsletters, most of them were written on Sundays. I enjoy Sundays. Although Sundays can’t always be “My Day”. What if my wife’s birthday lands on a Sunday?

I have not wanted to write a newsletter every Sunday, though. I can think of two or three that were written on days where I want nothing to do with writing them. This newsletter journey has made me perform even when I did want to.

Am I going to stop at 52? No.

In Sent of a Woman, Al Pacino’s character, Lt. Col. Frank Slade was asked if he was done speaking before a committee? “I’m just get’n warmed up!”, Al Pacino replied.

Alex Hormozi talks about counting in “One Hundreds”. And in that sense, I haven’t even achieved one, “One Hundred”. Some of these newsletters have a lot of value to me. I would like to reread some more often. Not because of the writing, but because of the message. A reminder of that message. “Driving Mindset” would be an excellent newsletter for me to read before I deal with traffic. I was going to list three of my favorites. However, after reading through several of them, they were all becoming my favorite.

There are so many I need to reread, that I’m going to edit and/or update an old one while putting out a new one. Starting with “Brake Caliper Seals” (Newsletter #1) on next week’s newsletter, #53. This ups the ante a bit. I’m thinking about having the updates in a font color other than black. Or white, LOL. To access any of the old ones, click here.

I need to reward myself for doing one a week, for a year. I have decided that the reward is going to be a new keyboard. I would like one that has backlit keys.
