Choosing Your Make-Believe
Allow courage to guide you.
Faith and fear are just made up, neither are a guarantee. I heard this the other day. And it really struck me. One seems obvious, fear. However, the other is also obvious after working it out in my head. Yes, there is no guarantee that which you have faith in will happen. But if you were to choose your fantasy, which one would it be? The positive (faith) or the negative (fear). Being absolutely afraid of crashing in a corner, becomes almost certain you will. This part seems clear. Then, why wouldn’t we default to faith in keeping the rubber side down? It’s got to be something along the lines of seeing more bad stuff as we age, than good stuff. Remember how fearless we were when we were young and dumb?
I guess this is where courage comes in as adults. With a collection of seeing and/or experiencing more negative events in our lives than positives; we look fear in the face and move forward. This means move forward with faith. Because if you were to let more fear creep in than faith, then you have already determined your outcome.

No update for Newsletter #13 (“100% Never Makes The Grid” -A Kevin Cameron quote). However, a year later it’s the same situation; getting ready for the upcoming track day season.
Happy Testarossa Day. (5/12)
